Description

Valerian is found in mountainous reason in Nepal. It is a perennial herd to 45 cm tall with thick, nodular and aromatic root stock. Flowers white or pink tinged, in terminal clusters, borne on erect nearly leafless stem. Fruits are small with persistent papas like calyx. This herb has been highly esteemed since medieval times and used to be call "all heal."
