Matricaria chamomilla is an annual plant of the composite family Asteraceae. Chamomile is a common name for several daisy-like plants. They were introduced in Nepal some years ago. They are now cultivated in Terai region. These plants are best known for their ability to made into tea, which is commonly used to help with sleep and is often served with either honey or lemon. The other name of Matricaria chamomilla is Blue Chamomile Oil.
